Roy L. Tadlock

Roy L. Tadlock, age 88 of Batesville died Sunday, April 24, 2011 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born July 24 1922 at Ash Flat, Arkansas to O. V. and Lela Mae Bristow Tadlock. He was a carpenter and enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading and wrestling. He was a member of the Allen Chapel Free Will Baptist Church at Southside.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Hazel Tadlock, daughter, Carol Craig, brothers, Ross Tadlock and Paul Tadlock, an infant sister and an infant grandson and infant granddaughter.Survivors include son, Bobby L. Tadlock and daughter Bambie Tadlock both of Batesville, brothers, David Tadlock of Colorado and Dudley Tadlock of Springdale, sister, Doris Bandy of Pasadena, Texas, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Allen Chapel Free Will Baptist Church located at Southside with Bro. Troy Sharp and Bro. Tim Landers officiating. Burial will follow in the Alderbrook Cemetery located at Desha with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.Visitation will begin Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Lynn Thompson, Jerry Byrd, Brad Berry, Michael Watkins, Danny Tipton and Hubert Manns Jr.Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Tom Cummins and the Men's Sunday School Class at the Allen Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
