Wesley Watts, age 71 of Desha died Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born May 17, 1939 at Landis, Arkansas to James and Cordia (Henry) Watts. He was retired and had worked at construction and truck driving. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He attended the First Baptist Church in Desha.He was preceded in death by his parents his 1st wife of 43 years, Sarah Lue George Watts, son Terry Hutchison, daughter, Tammy Watts, four brothers and two sisters.Survivors include his wife of ten years, Wanda Watts of the home, sons, Zelan Watts and Lance Watts both of Boise, Idaho, daughters, Janet Ritchie of Desha, Sherry Anstine and Tanya Holt both of West Plains, Missouri, two brothers, James Watts of Harrison and Fred Watts of Morning Star, sister Daley Ragland of Marshall, twenty grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Graveside services will begin Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Farris Cemetery located in Onia with Bro. Troy Sharp officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service. Visitation will begin Tuesday, May 3, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.Honorary pallbearers are Jap Holt, Raymond Presley and Dr. Lackey Moody.
