Denny Clayton

Denny Lee Clayton, age 67 of Saffell died Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the Baptist Hospital in Little Rock. He was born November 29, 1943 at Batesville, Arkansas to Lester and Bernice (Allen) Clayton. He was a farmer and a member of the Saffell Missionary Baptist Church for over 50 years.He was preceded in death by his parents.Survivors include his wife of sixteen years, Dorothy Clayton, step-daughters, Debra Cunningham and Deanna Richardson both of Batesville, brother Roger Clayton and wife Janice of Saffell and sister, Ann Turnbow and husband Sloan of Jonesboro, four step grandchildren, Trae Richardson, Michelle Lankford, Emily Richardson and Jackson Richardson all of Batesville, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Saffell Missionary Baptist Church in Saffell with Bro. Larry Etheridge and Keith Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lincoln Ward Cemetery located at Saffell with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will be Tuesday, May 10, 2011 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Saffell Missionary Baptist Church in Saffell.Pallbearers will be Larry Allen, David Allen, Tommy Tidwell, Wendell Saffell, Charles Randolph and Randy Richey.
