Wanda Mae Oyler

Wanda Mae Oyler, age 80 of Ash Flat died Friday, May 13, 2011 at an Ash Flat nursing home. She was born March 26, 1931 at Poughkeepsie, Arkansas to Frank and Elsie Anderson Davis. She was a homemaker, cleaned houses for Cooper Communities, enjoyed her family, the outdoors and gardening. She was a member of the Powells Chapel United Methodist Church in Poughkeepsie and the Corinth United Methodist Church in Ash Flat. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Dewey Gene Oyler and two brothers, Charlie D. Davis and J. Paul Davis.Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Willie G. Oyler of the home, her daughter Carrol Gilbreath and husband, Denny of Ash Flat, sister, Bonnie Bradley of Poughkeepsie, two grandchildren, Austin Gilbreath of Ash Flat and Beverly Gilbreath of Agnos, and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Sunday, May 15, 2011 a 2:00 p.m. at the Powells Chapel United Methodist Church in Poughkeepsie with Jack Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Wiles Cemetery located at Ash Flat with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will be Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Jerry Bradley, Terry Bradley, Nathan Bradley, Bob Bradley, Richard Bradley, Harlan Davis, Rickey Davis and Rex Nicholson.
