James Robert Richardson, age 75 of Batesville died Monday, June 20, 2011 at his home. He was born September 29, 1935 at Ruddell Hill, Arkansas to Nathan and Ida Nelson Richardson. He was a farmer and enjoyed his grandchildren and fishing. He was a member of the Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, William Richardson, one brother Coy Richardson and two sisters, Marmalee Miller and Juanita Kisner.Survivors include son, Bobby Richardson and wife Beth of Pangburn, son Ed Richardson and wife Mandy of Batesville, daughter, Patricia Brewer and husband Danny of Judsonia, three brothers, Roy Richardson of Heber Springs, Michael Richardson and Clifford Richardson both of Bakersfield, California, two sisters, Mary Helen Newson and Carolyn Richardson both of Bakersfield, California, eight grandchildren, Andy Richardson of Jonesboro, Amy Risk of Searcy, April Walker of North Little Rock, Nathan Richardson and Madison Richardson both of Batesville, Darren Castor of Pangburn, Tiffany Ham of Mountain View and Cody Ham of Judsonia, six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. T. Aaron Maxwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery located at Cushman with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.Visitation will be Wednesday, June 22, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Terry Williams, Preston Jones, Keith Harmon, Gordon Harmon, Nathan Richardson and Cody Ham.Honorary pallbearers are Allen Williams and Bill Crisler.
