Willene Welch Russell

Willene Welch Russell age 96 of Batesville (formerly of Waukegan, Illinois) died Monday July 4, 2011 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born May 4, 1915 at Decatur, Tennessee to Charles L. and Daisy M. McGee Welch. She was a retired sales clerk.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Raymond J.J. Russell; one son, Michael Russell; three brothers, Charles Welch, Collis Welch and Mack Welch; and three sisters, Hattie Clark, Tommye Evans and Karrie Jayne.Survivors include one son, John Russell of Placerville, California; one daughter, Dorothy Enos of Desha; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
