William M. 'Bill' Smith, age 48 of Poughkeepsie died Thursday June 30, 2011 at his home. He was born December 21, 1962 at Orange, Texas to William and Lisa Bourque Smith. He was a Fugitive Recovery Agent, a Lead and Master Mechanic and Millwright in the oil industry and was a model for Bonjelle World Model Center and was featured in GQ magazine in 1993. He was a Reverend with World Christians Ministries, and a member of First Assembly of God in Cave City.He was preceded in death by his father.Survivors include his wife, Linda Bennett Smith of the home; one daughter, Brittany Ann Lytle of Orange, Texas; one step-daughter Suzzonne Norris of Poughkeepsie; his mother, Lisa Bourque Harris of Welch, Louisiana; four brothers, Damon Smith and Martin Eason both of Orange, Texas, Wendell Eason of Shreveport, Louisiana and Richard Olsen of North Carolina; two sisters, Alona Simpson of Austin, Texas and Ruth Heinlein of North Carolina; six step-grandchildren, Erica Norris, Shannon Picard, Todd Norris Jr., Joshua Stroderd, Jordan Stroderd and Morgan Norris; five step-great grandchildren, Madison Degeyter, Nicholas Degeyter, Devin Picard, Sarah Picard and Talon Norris; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Cave City with Bro. Bobby Sanders and Bro. Jim Farris officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Honorary pallbearers are Todd Norris Sr., Edward Myers, Joshua Stroderd and Todd Norris Jr.
