Philip L. Feske, 90, of Concord died Sunday, July 24, 2011, at his home. Born March 23, 1921, at Salem, S.D., he was the son of Daniel and Lydia Hirsch Feske. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served in World War II. He was a retired machinist and a member of First Baptist Church in Concord.Survivors include his wife, Esther Feske; three sons, Philip Feske Jr. and Joseph Feske, both of Concord, and Patrick Feske of Waterloo, Iowa; four daughters, Sheila Lavenz of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Josephine Sivertsen of Traer, Iowa, Sharon Johnson of Aplingpon, Iowa, and Ashley Feske of Concord; two brothers, Norman Feske of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Daniel Feske Jr. of California; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Phyllis Feske; two brothers, Earl Ervin Feske and Ira Rubin Feske; and two sisters, Magdalena Dorothy Feske Amato and Phoebe Delila Feske Hanson.The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church at Concord with John Wofford officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery under the direction of Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.Pallbearers will be Pat Feske, Vern Johnson, Jay Johnson, Curt Sivertsen, Curtis Jackson and Doug Drehs.Honorary pallbearers are Philip 'Bud' Feske Jr. and Joseph Feske.Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
