Charles 'Charlie' Edward Hemingway, age 71 of Cave City died Monday, August 1, 2011 at his home. He was born May 18, 1940 at Jacksonville, Florida to Louis F. Hemingway Sr. and Florence Louise Vogel Hemingway. He was a Corporal in the U. S. Army, retired from Gen Corp Automotive in Batesville, a volunteer fireman in Cave City and a Christian.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Treva Mae Hemingway, brother, John Ray Hemingway and four sisters, Barbara Louise Hemingway Beam, Irene Hemingway Knoles, Mary Jacquelyn Hemingway Gibson and Linda Faye Hemingway.Survivors include two brothers, Frank Louis Hemingway Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida and Joseph E. Hemingway of Cookeville, Tennessee, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Graveside memorial services will be held at the Cave City Cemetery Friday, August 26, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.No visitation is planned.
