Jason Amidon

Jason Amidon, age 34 of Sidney died Saturday July 30, 2011. He was born July 30, 1976 at Burnet, Texas. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a CNA and a member of the First Baptist Church at Evening Shade.He was preceded in death by one son, Julian Scott Amidon, his grandfather, John Carpenter and his grandparents, Rodney and Dorothy Amidon.Survivors include his wife, Tina Amidon of the home; one son, Tommy Downs of Sidney; two daughters, Mackenzye Amidon of Evening Shade and Sara Downs of Sidney; his mother, Debra Bacon of Evening Shade; his father, Ronald Amidon of Texas, his grandmother, Barbara Carpenter of Evening Shade; one sister, Tiffany Taylor of Melbourne; one grandson, Aaron Carr of Sidney; one niece; two nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Memorial services will be held Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Evening Shade with Bro. John Finn and Bro. Larry Weaver officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
