Margaret Lorene Carter, age 82 of Cave City died Monday, August 15, 2011 at a Batesville hospital. She was born September 10, 1928 at Step Rock, Arkansas to Emmitt and Jessie Cook Morrow. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Batesville.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Guy B. Carter, five brothers, Rex Morrow, Mitchell Morrow, Bud Morrow, Louie Morrow and Leon Morrow and two sisters, Allene Schultz and Madge Siuchninski.Survivors include two sons, Edward Carter of Cave City and Billy Carter of Salem, Virginia, one daughter, Kathy Davis of Batesville, two sisters, Laverne Burrow and Gladys Morthole both of Sacramento, California, eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church located on White Drive in Batesville with Bro. Mike Hoggard officiating. Burial will follow in the Harvison Cemetery located at Sulphur Rock with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.Visitation will be Wednesday, August 17, 2011 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Pallbearers are Eddie Fairfield, Jeff Zelasko, Ronnie Carter, Mike Zelasko, Larry Carter and Ricky Carter.Honorary pallbearers are Jeremy Stephens, Rick Jennings, Kenny Edwardson and Eddie Joe Carter.
