Ben Simpson, age 41 of Little Rock, formerly of Poughkeepsie died Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Poughkeepsie. He was born February 24, 1970 in Festus, Missouri to James and Peggy Simpson. He was employed by GHBW Engineering in Little Rock, he enjoyed spending time with his sons and the outdoors. He was of the Church of Christ faith.He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Simpson, grandparents, Leon and Juanita Simpson and Nobel and Lula Maurean Bilbrey.Survivors include his father, James Simpson of Poughkeepsie, two sons, Spenser Simpson and Quinn Simpson both of Little Rock, two brothers, Patrick Simpson and wife Robin of Cave City and Erik Simpson of Poughkeepsie, his nephews and nieces; Shelby Simpson of Cave City, Camille Jackson, Jarrett Simpson and Sam Simpson all of Jonesboro, Brandon Ward and Cameron Ward both of Cord and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be Friday, September 16, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. C. C. Baird Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Spotts Cemetery located at Poughkeepsie. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Thursday, September 15, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers are Aaron Bean, Mark Wyatt, Michael Morriss, Tom Strother, Troy Stell and Randy McKnight.Honorary pallbearers are the Employees of GHBW Engineering, Wayne Parnell and Craig Byrd.
