Don Williams, age 66 of Nelsonville died Sunday, October 2, 2011 at his home. He was born May 21, 1945 at Huron, South Dakota to Donald George and Evelyn Toogood Williams. He retired from Chrysler Corporation in Belvedere, Illinois, enjoyed gardening and working with the children in Children's Church at the First Assembly of God Church in Cave City where he was a member.He was preceded in death by his father.Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Zelma Williams of the home, his mother, Evelyn Williams of Huron, South Dakota, three sons, Dan Williams and wife Erika of Fort Lee, Virginia, Douglas Williams and Dennis Williams both of Jacksonville, Florida, a step son, Leonard Gunter Jr. of Myrtle Creek, Oregon and a step daughter, Holly Harry of Springfield, Oregon, a sister Sandi Peddinghause of Maryland, two grandchildren, Anthony and Daniel Williams of Fort Lee, Virginia, and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be Friday, October 7, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Evening Shade Cemetery located at Evening Shade with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home in Cave City.Visitation will be Thursday, October 6, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Honorary pallbearer is Jim West.
