Ethel King age 92 of Grange died Friday October 7, 2011 at the Cave City Nursing Home. She was born May 19, 1919 at Cave City, Arkansas to Jasper and Florence Arkansas Kibby Allen. She had lived in Arkansas all her life and was a long time member of the Ring's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed listening to gospel music and watching all kinds of animals.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Laman King; three sisters, Adline Townsley, Zelah Liles and Celia Townsley; one brother, Lee Allen and one infant son, J.R. King.Survivors include one son, Mack King of Grange; one daughter, Dorthy Cooper of Grange; one grandson, Eric Cooper of Calamine; one great grandson, Tyler Cooper; one great granddaughter, Kaelyn Cooper; two step-granddaughters, Sarah Branscum and Tammy Coles; three step-great grandsons; one step- great- granddaughter; many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Tuesday October 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ring's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Royce Ford and Bro. Terry Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the McAdams Cemetery located near Calamine with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Monday October 10, 2011 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Eric Cooper, Max Burge, Coy Allen, Eugene Townsley, Todd Coles and Terry Melton.Honorary pallbearers are Tyler Cooper, Wayne Christenberry and Charles Hutchison.
