Frances Jean Osborne, age 86 of Southside died Sunday, October 9, 2011 at a Batesville nursing home. She was born June 20, 1925 at Mountain View to Dow and Retha Poff Beckham. She was a beautician, a secretary for Osborne Plumbing and Electric in Southside and enjoyed entertaining her family and friends. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Southside.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Noble Osborne, her daughter-in-law, Shiria Osborne, two brothers, Blake Beckham and Ches Beckham, sister, Veda Mae Wallace and a great grandson, Zachary Osborne.Survivors include one son, Jerry Osborne and fianc??, Barbara Hall both of Batesville, two daughters, Paula Huckabee and husband Fred of Southside and Peggy Butler and husband Sam of Star City, one sister, Pauline Teague of Mountain View, nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Southside with Bro. Jerry Hagar and Bro. Bill Scroggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Egner Cemetery located at Salado with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.Visitation will be Tuesday, October 11, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Mickey Osborne, Randy Osborne, Greg Sims, Jeff Sims, Derek Bradley and Aaron Bradley and her great grandson, Gunnar Osborne.Honorary pallbearers are Larry Goodwin, John Randall Hall, Jeff Pender and Bobby Reynolds.
