Norman T. Stracener

Norman T. 'Pete' Stracener, age 70 of Drasco, formerly of Pleasant Plains died Sunday, October 23, 2011 at his home. He was born October 19, 1941 at Tyronza, Arkansas to Charles and Pauline O'Dell Stracener. He was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran having served in Vietnam.He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Larry Stracener.Survivors include his wife MaryAnn Stracener of home, daughter, Jacqueline Marie Ables of Cave City, four brothers, Frank Stracener of Montana, Don Stracener of Missouri, Bill Stracener of Marked Tree and Danny Stracener of Pleasant Plains, three sisters, Joyce Walker of Greers Ferry, Mickey Burns and Judy Dulaney both of Pleasant Plains, one granddaughter, Megan Lynn Bristow of Cave City, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.No visitation is planned.
