Dula Douglas

Dula Douglas age 84 of Walnut Ridge (formerly of Ash Flat) died Monday November 28, 2011 at Walnut Ridge. She was born January 29, 1927 at Strawberry, Arkansas to Herbert Thurman and Jennie Jane Massey Boyer. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sam Douglas; one son, Harrell Douglas; one brother, Bill Boyer and one sister, Maxola Holder.Survivors include one son, Darrell Douglas of Hoxie; one daughter, Glenda Zellers of Hollister, Missouri; two grandsons, Paul Douglas of Cabot and Rick Douglas of Highland; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Graveside services will begin Thursday December 1, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Penn Cemetery located at Strawberry with Rick Douglas officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.No visitation is planned.
