Irene Rickett Stratton

Irene Rickett Stratton, age 65 of Morrilton, formerly of Bald Knob died Friday, December 23, 2011 at a Morrilton nursing center. She was born November 7, 1946 at Pleasant Plains, Arkansas to Elwin Dale and Geneva Bell Schultz Rickett. She enjoyed children, animals and giving hugs. She was of the Baptist faith.She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Elwin Dale Rickett Jr.Survivors include one sister Loretta Rickett McClain of Conway, nephews and nieces, Kathy Lynn Sanders of Tyler, Texas, Geneva Cornwell of Scottsville, Kentucky, Kathy Corbit and husband Ricky of Southside, Glenn R. McClain of Mayflower and Cary Dale Rickett and wife Amanda of Bald Knob and many great nephews and nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.Graveside services will begin Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Shady Grove Cemetery located at Bald Knob with Bro. Mike Ball officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.No visitation is planned.Honorary pallbearers are Joshua Pyle, Aaron Lawrence, Bobby Junior, Tommy Gray, Carlton Gray, Rex Gray and Ricky Corbit.
