Delsie Martin, age 98 of Batesville died Sunday, January 1, 2012 at her home. She was born December 19, 1913 at Chinquapin, Arkansas to Frankie and Tabitha Keller Harmon. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James 'Jim' Martin, one son Melvin Martin, two sisters, Elsie Low and Augusta Babb and one grandson, Johnny Winkle.Survivors include one son, Troy Martin of Batesville, three daughters, Mildred Winkle of Bethesda, Leota Allen of Batesville and Nancy Branham of Warner Robins, Georgia, ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Graveside services will begin Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Campground Cemetery located at Bethesda with Roger Ried officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.Visitation will be Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers are Austin Martin, Greg Martin, Kinnie Martin, Terry Winkle, Rick Winkle, Jeff Townsend, Mike Branham, Teresa Lawson, Loretta Townsend, Kathy Ried and Sandra Low.
