Silas Freeman

Silas Freeman Sr., age 69 of Cave City died Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at a Cave City nursing home. He was born September 5, 1942 at Batesville, Arkansas to Lucian and Grethel Townsley Freeman. He retired from ConAgra in Batesville, enjoyed spending time with his family and was a Christian.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Amelia Collen Freeman, one brother, Aubrey Freeman and a grandson, Jace Freeman.Survivors include three sons, Robert Dale Freeman of Searcy, Archie Freeman of Bald Knob, Silas Freeman Jr. of Drasco, one daughter, Kahronda McFall of Bradford, five grandchildren, Nikki Boshell of Bradford, Dillion Freeman of Strawberry, Stashia Freeman, Payton Freeman and Kyler Freeman all of Concord and a host of other relatives and friends.Graveside services will be Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the McAdams Cemetery in Calamine. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. No visitation is planned.
