Mary Lee Cofield

Mary Lee Cofield, age 71 of Sulphur Rock died Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born April 8, 1940 at Batesville, Arkansas to Austin and Emma Pierce Perrin. She was a homemaker and a member of the Faith Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Batesville.She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Howard Don Cofield.Survivors include one son Eric Lee Cofield of Sulphur Rock, one daughter, Laura Biggers of Batesville, one brother, Johnny Perrin of Little Rock, one sister, Juanita 'Nita' Burns of Virginia Beach, Virginia, one granddaughter, Brittany Lee Biggers of Batesville and a host of other relatives and friends.A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Faith Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Batesville with Rev. Alan Meinzer officiating. Internment will follow in the Alderbrook Cemetery located at Desha with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.Honorary pallbearers are the Men of the Faith Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Batesville.The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Laura Biggers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Faith Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church or to the charity of your choice.
