Roy Allen Hayes, age 47 of Sandford, Florida died Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at his home. He was born October 3, 1964 at Leachville, Arkansas. He was a maintenance supervisor having worked for Orlando-Sanford Airport Authority. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.He was preceded in death by his mother Delores Mae Thacker Brooks.Survivors include his wife Kathryn Hayes of the home, a son Jamie Pitzer of Sanford, Florida, a daughter, Erica Salmon of Sanford, Florida, a brother, Jeff Brooks of Fort Worth, Texas, six grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be Wednesday February 1, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joe Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Townsend Cemetery located at Smithville with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.Visitation will begin Tuesday, January 31, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
