Carl G. Floyd

Carl G. Floyd, age 69 of Batesville died Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at a Batesville hospital. He was born January 4, 1943 at Floral, Arkansas to Odis and Goldie McDougal Floyd. He was a retired agricultural foreman and enjoyed fishing. He was of the Baptist faith.He was preceded in death by his parents.Survivors include his wife of 46 years Rosemary Floyd of the home, one son, Jerrod Floyd of Batesville and one daughter, Lisa Elmore and husband Keith of Memphis, two sisters, Gail Watlington of Pangburn and Cathy Tharp of Floral, one grandson, Austin Elmore of Memphis, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Graveside services will be Friday, February 3, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at the Roosevelt Cemetery on Highway 157 in the Roosevelt Community near Pleasant Plains. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.No visitation is planned.
