Mary Jane Reesor

Mary Jane Reesor, age 73 of Concord died Monday, March 5, 2012 at a Batesville hospital. She was born December 18, 1938 at Turrell, Arkansas to Jessie and Ambie Sarah Shaver Scott. She was a homemaker, a member of the Thursday Morning Women's Bowling League and an avid gardener. She was a member of the Banner Mount Zion Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jerrold Byron Reesor and an infant son, Anthony Wayne Wells.Survivors include one son, Jerry Reesor and wife Michelle of Concord, two daughters, Cynthia Fletcher and husband Gregg of Concord and Sue Matson of Concord, two brothers, Vernon Scott of Tumbling Shoals and Larry Scott of Harrisburg, four grandchildren, Layla Turner of Floral, Carmella Phillips of Batesville, Clint Reesor of Newark and Cameron Reesor of Concord, three great grandchildren, Wade Brooks of Southside, Teighler Fabian of Searcy and Gage Turner of Floral, her beloved pet cat Mojo and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the Concord First Baptist Church with Bro. John Wofford officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.Visitation will be Tuesday, March 6, 2012 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Mark Scott, Andy Carpenter, Shane Rackley, Robbie Scott, James Teague and Kevin Bullard.Honorary pallbearers are Gregg Fletcher, Adam Kofoid, Vance Evans and Mike Ring.In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Disabled Veterans in Little Rock.
