Mauverine Sewell

Mauverine Elizabeth Miller Sewell age 84 of Cave City , AR. went to be with our Lord Saturday March 31, 2012. She was born October 17, 1927 to Jodie and Amour Miller in San Saba, TX. Marcy, as she was known to everyone, loved all of her family and friends dearly. During her life, she was a member of the Baptist church, a PTA member and taught Sunday School in the 1950's. When she was a young woman, she loved to dance. She married Hancel Sewell on December 2, 1944 in Killeen, Texas. She had three children, Marcie Lynn, Jodie Hancel and Ben Horace.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Hancel Sewell in 1994 and son, Jodie Sewell in 1987 and two sisters.Left to cherish her memory is daughter, Marcie Lynn Sewell Soto and husband Abel of Dallas; son, Ben Horace Sewell and Jane Strother of Cave City; granddaughter, Lori Ann Anderson and husband Greg of Cave City; great grandson, Jesse Dorris and wife Kayla of Evening Shade. The family wishes to thank the employees of Cave City Nursing Home, Dr. Thomas Cummins, Dr. Muhammad Khan and the hospital staff at White River Medical Center.Memorial services will be held Tuesday April 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with great grandson Jesse Dorris officiating. Interment will be at the Center Grove Cemetery located at Charlotte.Visitation will be Tuesday April 3, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. until service time at Qualls Batesville Funeral Service in Batesville.
