Monnie Ann Wolford, age 81 of Cushman died Thursday, April 5, 2012 at the Rolling Hills Nursing Center in Batesville. She was born August 20, 1930 at Washington, Missouri to George Arnett and Georgia Ann McCance Jones. She was a homemaker, enjoyed reading, gospel music and spending time with family. She was a member of the Cushman Southern Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Wolford, two sons, Stephen Wolford and Randy Wolford, two brothers, Buddy Jones and Calvin Jones and four sisters, Ether Wilhite, Faye Travis, Hazel Johnson and Ravie Jones.Survivors include two sons, Bobby Wolford of Batesville and Michael Wolford of Mount Pleasant, one daughter, Veneda Ann Marshall of Newark, five grandchildren, Lisa Naugle and Lori Jones both of Batesville, Chris Boozer of Walnut Ridge, Brian Boozer of Paragould and Kezia Wolford of Mount Pleasant, four great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will begin Monday, April 9, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Robert Ernest officiating. A private burial will be at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery located near Cushman with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.Visitation will be Sunday, April 8, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.Honorary pallbearers are her grandsons, the Staff of Rolling Hills Nursing Center, Dr. Dennis Davidson and Dr. Thomas Cummins.
