Cecil 'Dean' Wyatt, age 79 of Rosie died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at a Batesville hospital He was born July 8, 1932 at Rosie, Arkansas to Cecil H. and Evelyn Coleman Wyatt. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during the Korean War and a member of the VFW Post 4501 in Batesville. He enjoyed his grandchildren and gardening. He was a member of the Rosie Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Petit Jean 'Poopie' Wyatt.Survivors include two daughters, Deana Wyatt Ragsdale of Batesville and Charlotte Wyatt of Rosie, two sisters, Barbara Goforth of Fayetteville and Donna Jones of Newport, three grandchildren, Tabitha Fuller Breshears of Rosie, Blair Atchison of Pleasant Plains and Blake Elumbaugh of Rosie, ten great grandchildren, Drake Burkhead, Chad Burkhead, Connor Breshears and William Breshears all of Rosie, Hayden Atchison of Pleasant Plains, Tanner Elumbaugh and Blaten Elumbaugh both of Rosie, Tyler Breshears of Honolulu, Hawaii, Tera Santiago of Tuson, Arizona and Traci Hoekema of Sierra Vista, Arizona, and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Friday, May 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wyatt Cemetery located at Rosie with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
