Olen "Ray" McLeod

Olen “Ray McLeod, age 78 of Cave City died Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at a Cave City nursing home. He was born July 15, 1933 in Cave City, Arkansas to Homer and Eunar Lucille Hill McLeod. He was a retired U.S. Navy veteran. He enjoyed working with his hands and was a member of the Souls Harbor Church in Cave City. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, James McLeod, Tom McLeod, Gerald McLeod and Calvin Dale McLeod and two sisters, Walsie Mahan and Alice McLeod. Survivors include two sons, David Allen McLeod of Tennessee and Ricky Joe McLeod of Florida, three daughters, Kathy Ann McLeod of Cave City, Linda Sue Kain and Sharon Kay McLeod both of Texas, two brothers, Paul McLeod of Cave City and Bill McLeod of Batesville, a sister, Ross “June” Duvall of Cave City, seven grandchildren, Misty Gail Peugh of Tennessee, Jennifer Lynn Peugh, Hannah Reid and Makayla Reid all of Texas, Lisa McLeod and Kyle McLeod both of Florida and Sarah McLeod of Missouri and many other nephews, nieces, family and friends. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 11, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at the Souls Harbor Church in Cave City with Bro. Sam Manuel officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. No visitation is planned.
