Alan “A.D.” Milon, age 81 of Batesville died Monday, May 7, 2012 at a Batesville hospital. He was born July 4, 1930 at Lacrosse, Arkansas to Herbert and Mattie Williams Milon. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in the Korean War. He was a machinist for Electron Corp in Littleton, Colorado, he then retired from the U.S. Postal Service is also in Littleton. He was a Mason and enjoyed bowling, shooting pool and sports. He was a member of the Church of Compassion in Batesville. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife , Ethel Steel Milon, two brothers, Maurice Milon and Charlie Milon and two sisters, Berti May Bones and Nola Milon. Survivors include four brothers, Frank Milon of Houston, Texas, Merbert Milon of Sebastian, Florida, Carl Milon and David Milon both of Batesville and one sister, Sarah Milon of Batesville, many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the New Testament Holiness Church in Batesville with Bro. Robert Tidwell and Sis. Ora Peel officiating. Burial will be in the Arkansas North Little Rock National Cemetery. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service. Visitation will be Monday, May 14, 2012 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
