Treva Haskins, age 94 of Ash Flat died Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at an Ash Flat nursing home. She was born January 14, 1918 at Ash Flat, Arkansas to Elmer and Phoebia Barnes Kissinger. She was a homemaker, enjoyed helping others and her grandchildren. She was a member of the Ash Flat Church of Christ where she worked for many years in the church’s clothing benevolent room. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dale Haskins, an infant son, Charles Dale Haskins, an infant daughter, Henrietta Haskins, one brother, Jewell Kissinger and a sister, Irene Hudson.. Survivors include a son, Jack Haskins and wife Kathy of Ash Flat, two daughters, Pat Carmack and husband Ron of Heber Springs and Joann Pierce of Ash Flat, six grandchildren, Leigh Ann Pierce of Cave City, Alan Haskins and Lynn Haskins both of Walnut Ridge, JoBeth Mathis, Rick Carmack and David Carmack all of Jonesboro, twelve great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, May 25, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ash Flat Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the Haskins Cemetery located at Ash Flat with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will begin Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Church. Pallbearers are her grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers are Kathy Haskins, Ron Carmack and the Staff of the Ash Flat Healthcare and Rehab Center.
