Otto Bishop age 75 of Batesville died Monday May 28, 2012 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born March 30, 1937 at Belt Junction, Texas to Otto Hamilton and Linnie Gertrude Fenn Bishop. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a businessman and farmer. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Gene Bishop, James Bishop and Gerald Bishop. Survivors include his wife, Mary Hicks Bishop of the home; three sons, Torrey Bishop and Brenden Bishop both of Batesville and Kerwin Bishop of Charlotte; one daughter, Edwina Hurley of Cushman; one brother, Jack Bishop of West Fork; two sisters, Joan Grimes of Paris, Texas and Janice Burrows of Rogers; one stepson, John Scheer of Lewisville, Texas; one stepdaughter, Roberta Sulfar of Paris, Texas; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; six step-great grandchildren several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Wednesday May 30, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at the Charlotte Cemetery located at Charlotte with David Bishop officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Wednesday May 30, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville. Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
