Ricky Wayne Watkins Jr.

Ricky Wayne Watkins Jr., age 31 of Batesville died Thursday, May 24, 2012 at his home. He was born April 10, 1981 at Little Rock, Arkansas to Ricky Wayne Watkins Sr. and Angela Degunion Watkins. He had worked as a carpenter and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had attended the Believer’s Baptist Church in Griffin, Georgia. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Hannah Lee Watkins and a step grandmother, Dorothy Watkins. Survivors include his wife Bridget Watkins of the home, his parents of Cave City, a son Christopher Watkins of Jackson, Georgia, a daughter, Trinity Watkins of Lovejoy, Georgia, two step daughters, Ashleigh Coren and Destiny Bailey both of Batesville, two sisters, Aleisha Osborn of Oxford, Mississippi and Kayla Watkins of Jackson, Georgia, three nieces and one nephew and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the White Drive Baptist Church in Batesville with Bro. Adam Longo officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount View Cemetery located east of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the Church.
