Pat Darnell Bennett age 64 of Batesville died Sunday July 15, 2012 at a Batesville hospital. She was born March 11, 1948 at Sitka, Arkansas to Mack K. and Alma Jean Fisher Darnell. She was retired from White Rodgers in Batesville after 34 years of service and was a member of the Peaceful Harbor PCG Church in Batesville. She liked to laugh a lot and spending time with her church family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald Bennett and one brother, Dewayne Darnell. Survivors include two sisters, Roxanne Whitmire of Batesville and Maxine McCord of Hardy; one niece, Julie Butler of Missouri; four nephews, Gary McCord, Terry McCord, Tracy McCord all of Paragould and Dewayne Wealot of Joplin, Missouri and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Wednesday July 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Wally Varner and Bro. Freddie Beard officiating. Burial will follow in the Baker Cemetery located near Hardy with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will begin Tuesday July 17, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Tracy McCord, Terry McCord, Gary McCord, Dale Briley, Jason Briley, Eddie Hodges and Dewayne Wealot. Honorary pallbearers are the Members of the Adult Sunday School Class at Peaceful Harbor PCG Church and Alfred Polston.
