Wanda Lee Edwards

Wanda Lee Edwards age 89 of Batesville died Friday July 27, 2012 at her home. She was born November 29, 1922 in Oklahoma to John Henry and Lydia Jane Scoggin Rogers. She was a homemaker, retired from Marshall Dry Goods in Batesville and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tommy D. Edwards; ten brothers; three sisters and three grandchildren, Scott Stephens, Rebecca Blue and Sherry Blue. Survivors include one son; Gerald Wayne Edwards of Batesville; five daughters, Sue Twilley of Kansas City, Missouri, Tommie Blue of Cushman, Norma McSpadden, Wanda Fitzgerald and Brenda Wycough all of Batesville; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will begin Tuesday July 31, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Oaklawn Cemetery located in Batesville with Bro. Tim Landers officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will begin Monday July 30, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Honorary pallbearers are her grandsons, Matthew Wycough, Mark Wycough, Jeremy Fitzgerald, Allen Stephens, Todd Blue and Eric Twilley.
