Debbie Presser age 60 of Sandtown died Thursday August 2, 2012 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born June 11, 1952 at Marion, Indiana to James and Dorothy Bollhoefer Schmitt. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father, James Schmitt and her stepfather, Forest Dale Chance. Survivors include her husband, James Presser of the home; three sons, Donnie Presser of Sandtown, Chad Presser of Little Rock and Jody Presser of Cave City; her mother Dorothy Chance of Cave City; two brothers, Chris Chance of Sandtown and Forest “Sonny” Chance of Bethesda; three sisters, Darlene Hastings and Jamesetta Carter both of Sandtown and Connie Headley of Cave City; four grandchildren, Tyler Presser, Derrick Presser and Zachary Presser all of Sandtown and Keyleigh Presser of Cave City; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Saturday August 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Cave City with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Lee’s Chapel Cemetery located at Sandtown with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Friday August 3, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Cave City. Pallbearers will be Alvin Pool, Aaron Presser, Trent Bradley, Terry Bradley, Donald Staggs and Terence Carter.
