Danny Michael Hix

Danny Michael Hix, age 65 of Searcy formerly of Batesville died Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at his home. He was born April 6, 1947 at Batesville, Arkansas to Willard and Winnie E. Kimbrough Hix. He had owned and operated a drywall business in Vero Beach, Florida until he relocated to Batesville. He enjoyed his family, the outdoors and his pets. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his mother, Winnie E. Hix of Searcy, one son, Brian Todd Hix of Hobbs, New Mexico, a sister, Shirley Hix Duprel and husband David of Greenville, Mississippi, three nieces, Tammy Goodwin of Oviedo, Florida, Teresa Cobb of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Nicole Ventura of Sarasoto, Florida and a host of other relatives and friends. Private family memorial services will be held Friday, August 3, 2012 at Searcy. Interment will be at a later date in the Rest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in North Little Rock. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service. No visitation is planned. Honorary pallbearer will be David Duprel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God Church, 221 N. Elm St., Jacksonville, AR 72071.
