Donald Gene McClain

Donald Gene McClain, age 66 of Little Rock, formerly of Batesville died Thursday, August 9, 2012 at the V.A. Hospital in Little Rock. He was born March 13, 1946 at Charlotte, Arkansas. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served from June 11, 1964 until November 20, 1967, when he was honorably discharged. He was a Christian. He enjoyed listening to music, singing and walking. He was preceded in death by his mother Ruth Reaves. He is survived by his brother, Kenneth “Mitch” Reaves of Batesville and many other friends. A visitation will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2012 form 9:00 a.m. until funeral service time at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. John Abbott officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery located north of Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be Max Burge, Vaughn Riley, Jason Mabes, Jerry Gray, Michael Taylor and Anthony DeLong. Honorary pallbearers will be the Palliative Care Team of the VA Hospital in Little Rock.
