Roy Conway age 80 of Evening Shade died Saturday September 8, 2012 at the Fulton County Hospital in Salem. He was born January 3, 1932 at Evening Shade, Arkansas to John Clarence and Ollice Carrie Wade Conway. He was a retired sawmill owner and operator and a member of the Faith Assembly of God Church in Evening Shade where he served as a deacon. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Johnny Conway; two brothers, Troy Conway and infant brother, Ernest Conway; one sister, Sylvia Mae Gulley and one grandson, Travis Herrington. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Audrey Wilson Conway of the home; two sons, Clarence Ray Conway and his wife Wanda and Tommy Conway and his wife Rita all of Evening Shade; three daughters, Barbara Leech and her husband Mike of Franklin, Tennessee, Carrie Herrington and her husband Roger of Sidney and Glenda Miller and her husband John of Evening Shade; one brother, Lloyd Conway and his wife Barbara of Horseshoe Bend; one sister, Allene Kietzmann and her husband Al of Evening Shade; thirteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Tuesday September 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Faith Assembly of God Church in Evening Shade with Sis. Jennifer Martin and Jack Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery located at Evening Shade with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will begin Monday September 10, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Larry Coleman, Bill Klaser, Lloyd Ray Conway, Doyle Conway, Mike Johnson and Dustin Rogers. Honorary pallbearers are Frank Jones, Frank Arnold, Jack Richardson, Dr. Robert Walton and Dr. Charles Tucker.
