Robert Earl Upton

Robert Earl Upton age 65 of Cave City died Friday September 7, 2012 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born October 27, 1946 at Half Moon Bay, California to Everette Nathaniel and Maxine Elizabeth Jones Upton. He was a retired U.S. Army Veteran having served in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ronald Upton. Survivors include his wife Joy Upton of the home; two sons, Alvin Upton and Thomas Upton both of Cave City; three daughters, Elizabeth Upton, Michelle Upton and Cassandra Upton all of Cave City; one brother, Richard Upton of Batesville; one sister, Kristi Upton of Batesville; two half sisters, Laura Anderson of Hollywood, California and Lisa Husted of California; one half brother, Patrick Verfurth of Lathrop, California; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Thursday September 13, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Tony Howell officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Thursday September 12, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until service time.
