Ivy Bea Lackey age 88 of Little Rock (formerly of Cave City) died Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Little Rock. She was born February 27, 1924 at Cave City, Arkansas to Will and Lee Ford Story. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hebron Baptist Church and Geyer Springs Baptist Church both in Little Rock. She was a staunch supporter of the Democratic Party. She also loved Cave City. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband whom she missed dearly, J.W. Lackey; five brothers and one sister. Survivors include her loving daughter, Margaret Ann Specht of Little Rock; one grandson and the light of her life Ryan Specht and his wife Angie of Midland, Texas; one sister, Emy Lee Selby of Little Rock; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Tuesday October 2, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cave City Cemetery with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. No visitation is planned. Honorary pallbearers are Ryan Specht, Charles Clark, Jim Davis, Bobby Sweeten,Tommy Wayne Lackey and William Ray Story.
