Tyler Ray Crews age 20 of Evening Shade (formerly of Saffell) died Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Evening Shade. He was born April 9, 1992 at Newport, Arkansas to Jackie Ray and Wendy Rounds Crews. He was a 2010 Graduate of Hillcrest High School a welder for DZ Atlantic in Newark and a member of the Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist Church of Saffell and attended the First Faith Pentecostal Church at Cave City. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Henry Ray Crews of Saffell. Survivors include his wife Katie Crews of the home; a son Austin Blane Crews of the home; his parents Jackie and Wendy Crews of Saffell; one sister Lindsey Crews of Saffell; grandparents, Clara Nell Crews of Saffell and Lynn and Sandra Long of Lynn; aunt and uncle Todd and Resa Bolin of Batesville; uncles,Scott Rounds and wife Judy of Katy, Texas, Allen Rounds and wife Nicole of Newport and Shannon Long and wife Tracy of Smithville; cousins, Stephanie Bolin of Batesville, Shalynn Rounds and Jake Rounds both of Katy, Texas, Brandon Rounds and Meredith Rounds both of Newport and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Sunday, October 7, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the Hillcrest High School Gymnasium at Lynn with Bro. Caleb Harris and Bro. Stanley Vandergrift officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery located at Saffell with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Sunday, October 7, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Pallbearers will be Dylon Castillo, Cameron Vaulner, Hunter Durham, Billy Brannon, Cody Doyle and Paden Day. Honorary Pallbearers are Hillcrest High School Class of 2010, Dexter Huckabee, Cooper Vaulner, Derrick Gann and Ben Stout. A scholarship fund in memory of Tyler Ray Crews is being established at the Bank of Cave City.
