Buelah Edith Norris age 74 of Cave City died Friday October 12, 2012 at a Batesville hospital. She was born March 6, 1938 at Taylor, Nebraska to Oscar and Sylvia Dishman. She was a member of the Eastside Southern Baptist Church in Cave City. She spent her life as a homemaker, worked at Cave City Nursing Home and at a Batesville poultry plant. She enjoyed spending time with her huge family. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Loran Dishman, Grant Dishman, Willie Dishman and Edward Dishman; two daughters, Sylvia Jean Norris and Sue Alan Norris; one granddaughter, Tracy Huckabee; two great grandsons, Aaron Huckabee and Karson Norris; two great granddaughters, Shelby Norris and Ashley Norris. Survivors include her husband, William Franklin Norris of the home; four sons, Billy Ray Norris, Laddy Lee Norris, James Dean Norris and Gene Alan Norris all of Cave City; one step-daughter, Kathryn Ann Norris of California; two sisters, Hazel McKnight of Grand Island, Nebraska and Carol Schultz of Cozad, Nebraska; four brothers, Henry Dishman, Gary Dishman, Delbert Dishman and Aladian Dishman all of Gothenburg, Nebraska; 19 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will begin Tuesday October 16, 2012 at 3:30 p.m. at the Maxville Cemetery located north of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will begin Monday October 15, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Trent Bradley, Kenny Parker, Darnell McClinton, Shaun Willis, Randall Gilmore, Antonio Sanchez and Chase Gorman.
