Bernard Boone

Bernard Boone age 90 of Denver, Colorado died Tuesday October 16, 2012 at the Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colorado. He was born February 3, 1922 at Fairfax, Oklahoma to John and Bertha Grimes Boone. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served during WWII, a retired truck driver and of the Protestant faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Allene Cordell Boone; two brothers, George Boone and Daniel Boone and one sister, Virginia Bates. Survivors include two sons, Jeff Boone of Denver, Colorado and Jerry Boone of Phoenix, Arizona; one brother, Bill Boone of Springfield, Missouri; two sisters, Myrtle Whitworth of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Johnnie Newalla of Springfield, Missouri; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will begin Friday October 26, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Maxville Cemetery located north of Cave City with Bro. Howard Brewer officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. No visitation is planned
