Michael A. Hamilton

Michael A. “Mike” Hamilton age 60 of Sidney died Sunday November 18, 2012 at a Batesville hospital. He was born February 18, 1952 at Batesville, Arkansas to Milton Auston and Elzada Sipe Hamilton. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Sidney Baptist Church in Sidney. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Danny Hamilton. Survivors include his wife Barbara Hamilton of the home; a stepson, Jeremiah Sherrod of Conway; two nieces, Amy Wells of Pocahontas and Beth Jones of Alicia; three great nieces, Kaitlin Wells, Allison Wells and Avery Jones and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Wednesday November 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sidney Baptist Church located in Sidney with Bro. Doyne Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in the Evening Shade Cemetery located at Evening Shade with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will begin Tuesday November 20, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Kenny Heath, Ronnie Guinnip, Roger Guinnip, Jim Shands, Dewey McFarlin, Gary Lindsey, David Croft and Brent Williams. Honorary pallbearers are William Runyan, Charlie Davis, Matt Wells, Carl Bailey, John Schroeder, Blake Jones, David Lee Wilkerson and Donald Hastings.
