Elnora Annette Qualls age 73 of Willisville, Illinois passed away at 8:10 p.m. Sunday November 18, 2012 at her daughter’s home in Fenton, Missouri. Elnora was born in Cave City, Arkansas on November 12, 1939, the daughter of William H. and Dellar Britnell Smith. She married Max A. Qualls on January 1, 1960 at Kessler AFB, Mississippi. He preceded her in death on December 30, 1999. Elnora was a homemaker and was of the Protestant faith. Elnora is survived by her daughter Cindy Ashley and her husband Mike of Fenton, Missouri; two granddaughters, Laura Ashley of Fulton, Missouri and Melissa Ashley of Fenton, Missouri; three brothers, Foster Smith of Warren, Felix Smith of Cave City and Pete Smith of Melbourne ; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Elnora was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, George L. Smith, Lucshen Smith and Merdie Smith and two sisters, Gennora Powers and Julia Barker. Funeral services will be held Saturday November 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Larry Etheridge officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Friday November 23, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Tim Smith, Will Smith, Jeff Smith, Aaron Holley, Gary Tackett and Pete Ring.
