Roy S. Thurman Jr.

Roy S. Thurman Jr. age 71 of Drasco died Tuesday November 27, 2012 at his home. He was born April 2, 1941 at Romoland, California to Roy S. Thurman Sr. and Minnie Mae Chipman Thurman. He was a retired heavy equipment operator. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Roy S. Thurman III. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Webb Thurman of the home; one son, Michael Thurman of Concord; one daughter, Diana James of Wolf Bayou; one sister, Carolyn Perez of Kingman, Arizona; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. No visitation is planned.
