Betty L. Harris White age 83 of Batesville died Sunday December 2, 2012 at a Batesville hospital. She was born December 2, 1929 at Batesville, Arkansas to Everett and Oma Rodgers Brokaw. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cave Creek Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; a husband, John Harris; three sons, Ronnie Harris, Don Harris and Steve Davis; one brother, Charles Brokaw and one sister, Naomi Rorscheib. Survivors include her husband, Elmer White of Batesville; five sons, John K. Harris of Gentry, James Harris of Spring Mill, Michael Harris of Pleasant Plains,Ricky Harris of Hutchinson Mountain and Scotty Harris of Salado; one daughter, Lisa Easter of Lowell; one brother, Ira Brokaw of Pfeiffer; five sisters, Billie Brokaw of Tennessee, Jean Bynum of Batesville, Berniece Mingues of Newark, Daisy Thompson of Spring Mill and Earlene White of Spring Mill; 23 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Wednesday December 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. John Abbott officiating. Burial will follow in the Weaver’s Chapel Cemetery located north of Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will begin Tuesday December 4, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Adam Harris, Anthony Harris, Michael Bruce Harris Jr., James Haigwood, Matthew Harris, Andrew Harris, Caleb Harris and C.W. Burrow. Honorary pallbearers are James Harris Jr. and Scotty Harris Jr.
