Adgede Drake Gay

Adgede Drake Gay age 78 of Batesville died Tuesday December 11, 2012 at her home. She was born January 13, 1934 at Locust Grove, Arkansas to William Guy and Leslie Leota Curtis Drake. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Terry Gay; one daughter, Cheryl Ann Gay; one brother, William Warren Drake; two sisters, Patsy Drake and Mary Lou Drake. Survivors include one son, Chris Gay of Batesville; one daughter, Dinah Bishop of Hutchinson Mountain Community; one sister, Angele Boutwell of Locust Grove; three grandchildren, Tyler Gay of Batesville and Kimberly Cartmill and Kristie Shockley both of Hutchinson Mountain Community; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will begin Wednesday December 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Locust Grove Cemetery located in Locust Grove with Rev. James Wheeler officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. No visitation is planned.
