James Walter Johnson

James Walter Johnson age 71 of Evening Shade died Sunday December 30, 2012 at the Fulton County Hospital in Salem. He was born April 22, 1941 at Evening Shade, Arkansas to Clem Walter and Robbie Mae Reed Johnson. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Pete Johnson and Roland Johnson and one sister, Lavena Smith. Survivors include two sisters, Peggy Reed and Norma Sue Johnson both of Evening Shade; one brother, Olen Johnson of Smithville; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will begin Tuesday January 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Maxville Cemetery located north of Cave City with Dwight Sharp officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. No visitation is planned. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Qualls, Grady Rush and Lynn Young.
