Fannie Mae Brasher age 99 of Union, Missouri died Monday December 31, 2012 at her home. She was born October 18, 1913 at Cave City, Arkansas to Allie and Josephine Jones Sherrill. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Staton Marvin Brasher; one daughter, Wanda Curcio; three brothers, Wes Sherrill, Cleo Sherrill and Addie Sherrill and two sisters, Madge Powell and Therline Frost. Survivors include one son, Billy Boyd Brasher of Claremore, Oklahoma; two daughters, Betty Romine of The Villages, Florida and Brenda Wieda of Belle, Missouri; one brother, Luther Sherrill of Heber Springs, Arkansas; two sisters, Stella Hebblethwaite of Springfield, Missouri and Florence Fleeman of Puxico, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin Saturday January 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Ron Canard officiating. Burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery located west of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will begin Friday January 4, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Dominic Brasher, Mike Brasher, Johnny Wieda, Lyle Romine, Sam Curcio, John Curcio, Ricky Wieda and Brian Romine.
